About Us

We are Bruce and Gloria, the founders of Fabulosokids™ and the authors of this blog.

The Fabulosokids Family

The Fabulosokids Family! Gloria, Bruce, M and C

We’ve been married since 2002. We’ve been parents since 2005 and parents to two children since 2009.

Our goal, both for the blog and for our business as a whole, is to give parents and other adult caregivers the tools, the knowledge and the encouragement that they need in order to nurture the intellectual and emotional well-being of their children and the children around them. It may seem like a given that all parents strive to do those things, to grow kids who are happy and confident and who will be successful in their adult lives, but the truth is that most parents don’t really have any idea how to do that, and certainly have no plan to follow in order to get it done.

We believe we have an opportunity to help reverse that sober reality by offering assistance in three forms. First, through this blog, we will offer insights and advice that we hope people can use in their daily lives to form plans and habits that will allow them to best nurture their growing children and to foster their intellectual and emotional well being. Second, via our commercial site http://www.fabulosokids.com, we believe that we can offer products of extremely high quality that adults can use as tools to further their goals and the goals of and for the children in their lives. In addition, we are committed to creating and merchandising products that are highly desirable to children within the specific age range that the product is targeted to. Finally, by creating alliances with other companies, other bloggers, educators, and child development specialists, we intend to add value to the interactive experiences that we provide to parents on this and other blogs, on our website, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media sites as appropriate.

Secondarily, as a Colombo-American family, we recognize the need to offer every one of these benefits on a bilingual basis, and to respect the value of bilingualism in an increasingly bilingual world. As a result, any of our products that include language will be created in both English and Spanish forms, and the majority of our social media outreaches will be available in both languages, either as written directly or via a translation engine. For example, although @fabulosokids is linked to this blog as our Twitter handle, there is also a Spanish profile @fabkidslatino that directly engages the Spanish speaking community. You’ll also notice that our blog pages can be translated into any of 50 languages via the Google Translate button (courtesy of BabelZ) located to the right of the content. It’s not a perfect translation, but it is good enough to impart the ideas that we’re trying to relate.

In short, our business is to offer you, the adults of the world, a means by which you can be sure that you are helping to grow Fabulosokids™! We thank you for joining us here, and hope you’ll return often.

Why is the Reading of Children Stories Important?

  2. Resources for stories are numerous, here is a site for personalized books. Online stories are definitely the most quick and accort approach to get this resources and selection. If you need to know where one can visit, then click here. Just explore the net and you’ll find more of it. But remember that an excellent story will only be effective if the storyteller’s heart is into it.
