The Case of the Missing Blogger
Amazing how I simply dropped off the face of the Earth, isn’t it? Things got a little crazy around the Fabulosokids house for a few months, and I simply didn’t have time to sit in front of the computer to do anything but my job. You see, in addition to Fabulosokids I have a job, where people actually pay me to make decisions and to get things done–I can hardly believe it myself. The company has two divisions–one that deals with plants, and one that deals with other stuff. In both cases, the whole point of our company is to get things done for other people, and those other people just all happened to need stuff done all at the same time! SO, for the past few months, I’ve been getting up at 5:00am and going to bed at midnight, spending every waking moment during the weekdays tending to my job, and every waking moment on the weekends tending to my family. No room for Twitter or blogs or any of that stuff.
Now, however, things are winding down and I should be able to focus on Fabulosokids a little more. Hopefully. We just started a discussion at my job for another giant project that may suck up a bunch more of my time, and it’s still Spring so the plants still need a ton of attention. We’ll see what happens.
For the time being, I’m going to try to write here once a week and to tweet every couple of days. I can’t wait to find out what you all have been doing and how things are. Be sure to let me know. We’ll talk…….soon.

Yay! Welcome back! Even if it’s just for a little while
Thanks Buddy! I’ve missed you all–the real world isn’t quite as nice as our Twitter circle!
Welcome back and I do home you are getting some sleep! Just reading that work schedule makes me exhausted!
Thanks Jackie! No time for sleep just yet–fishing yes, for a couple of hours today, but sleep will have to wait!
Hi there, welcome back! I figure you must have gotten busy and it sure sounds like you were burning the candle on both ends. Take care of yourself, okay?
Thanks Maria! You’re right, I need to pay attention to keeping healthy–so far, so good, but I’m near the edge for sure. Just a little longer….. How about you–how are you doing.
Good to see you back! Definitely take care of yourself – it’s so easy to burnout at the rate you’re going!
Oh yes–this is a short-term plan to be sure. Just a few more weeks and it should all pass. Thanks for the comment and for the welcome!
So good to hear from you again! I completely get how working to help other people get things done can result in long days. I was up until nearly 4 last night myself…. then back up a couple hours later and at my desk. Looking forward to reading more – even just for a little while.
Amazing what we can push ourselves to do when it needs to get done, isn’t it? Thanks for the comment–and for understanding.
